Informatics: Journal of Computer Science accepts original research articles, conceptual studies, and empirical research that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and technology in the fields of informatics and computer science. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
1. Internet Business Applications
The scope of Internet Business Applications covers the development and implementation of internet-based applications that support digital business activities and processes. This area includes e-commerce systems and platforms, digital marketing campaign management systems, web analytics, marketing automation, ride-sharing platforms (such as Uber or Grab), online travel and ticket booking systems (such as Expedia), project management systems, financial management systems, inventory management systems, and other online business-related applications.
2. Network & Cyber Security
The scope of Network & Cyber Security focuses on the protection of computer networks, information systems, and data against various cybersecurity threats. Topics include, but are not limited to, Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, brute-force attacks, phishing, application security, data protection, identity and access management, mobile security, cloud security, and other issues related to network and information security.
3. Statistics & Computation
The scope of Statistics & Computation encompasses the application of statistical methods in computing and data analysis. This area includes the use of computational techniques for data collection, storage, management, analysis, and presentation, such as data analysis, experimental design, simulation, big data analytics, statistical methodology development, data visualization, as well as spatial and geospatial analysis.
4. E-Learning & Multimedia
The scope of E-Learning & Multimedia includes the use of multimedia technologies in education and distance learning. This area focuses on the development and application of digital media, software, and online platforms to deliver learning content, facilitate communication, and support interaction between instructors and learners. Topics include instructional design, e-learning platforms, mobile learning, and other multimedia-based learning technologies.
5. Robotics & Artificial Intelligence
The scope of Robotics & Artificial Intelligence covers research and development in intelligent and autonomous systems capable of interacting with their environments. This area includes, but is not limited to, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), computer vision, natural language processing, control systems, autonomous robots, human–robot interaction, medical robotics, and other intelligent system applications.
Manuscripts submitted to Informatics: Journal of Computer Science are expected to present original contributions, demonstrate methodological rigor, and provide significant theoretical or practical value to the field of informatics and computer science. All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality, relevance, and adherence to ethical standards in scholarly publishing.
The journal encourages interdisciplinary research and welcomes contributions from researchers, academics, practitioners, and professionals that advance innovation and knowledge in computing and information technology.
