Archiving Policy

Informatik: Jurnal Ilmu Komputer is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all published scholarly content. To support this commitment, the journal implements a reliable digital preservation strategy in accordance with international standards for open-access scholarly publishing.

All journal content is preserved through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a free long-term digital archiving service developed and maintained by the Public Knowledge Project for journals using the Open Journal Systems platform. PKP PN utilizes a distributed preservation infrastructure based on the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) technology, ensuring that multiple copies of journal content are securely stored across geographically distributed preservation nodes.

Through this preservation system, all published articles remain permanently accessible even in the event that the journal website becomes temporarily or permanently unavailable. The PKP PN mechanism protects journal content against data loss, server failure, and organizational or technical disruptions, thereby safeguarding the scholarly record.

This archiving policy applies to all published content, including articles, metadata, and supplementary files. By implementing PKP PN, Informatik: Jurnal Ilmu Komputer demonstrates its long-term commitment to open access principles, sustainability of research outputs, and the reliable dissemination of scientific knowledge.
