Pengaruh Psikoedukasi Tentang Aktifitas Fisik Terhadap Kualitas Hidup Pasien Diabetes Tipe 2

Abstrak

Diabetes merupakan gangguan multisistem yang berhubungan dengan komplikasi dan prevalensinya di seluruh dunia meningkat. Kualitas hidup mengacu pada persepsi individu seseorang tentang status fisik, emosional, dan sosial. Pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2 memiliki tekanan yang besar untuk mengobati dirinya sendiri, dan mereka memiliki kualitas hidup yang lebih rendah daripada orang sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh psikoedukasi tentang aktifitas fisik terhadap kualitas hidup pasien diabetes tipe 2. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi eksperimental yang melibatkan 34 orang responden, masing-masing 17 orang pada kelompok intervensi dan kontrol. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol pada domain fisik (p-value 0,001, CI 0.74; 4.09) dan psikologis (0.003, CI 0.01; 3.45). Sementara itu tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada dua domain yang lain yaitu domain sosial (0,204, 2.19; 5.48) dan domain lingkungan (0.175, 0.71; 2.54). Psikoedukasi tentang aktifitas fisik memberikan peningkatan pada kualitas hidup pasien diabetes mellitus.
