This statement outlines the ethical responsibilities of all parties involved in the publishing process, including authors, the Editorial Board, expert editors, and the publisher. Our publication ethics policy is based on the COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
Ethical Guidelines for Publishing
Publishing articles in Journal of Health Educazione is a very important process in developing coherent and dignified knowledge. This is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support researchers. The articles reviewed contain and support scientific methodology. Therefore, it is important to agree on the standards of ethical behavior expected for all parties involved in the publishing process including authors, editors, expert editors, managing editors, publishers, and the public.
Therefore, it is essential to establish and maintain clear standards of ethical behavior for all individuals involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, expert reviewers, managing editors, publishers, and readers.
Decision of Issuance
Editors are responsible for deciding which submitted articles should be published. This decision should be based on the validity of the work and its relevance to authors and readers. Editors are guided by the journal’s editorial policies and are bound by applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright, and plagiarism. Editors may consult with other editors or members of the editorial team when making publication decisions.
Fairness
Editors evaluate manuscripts solely on their academic merit, without regard to the authors’ race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or political beliefs.
Confidentiality
Expert editors and managing editors must not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the corresponding author, senior editors, reviewers, and the publisher, as appropriate.
