About the Journal

EQUITY (P-ISSN No. 0216-8545 | E-ISSN No. 2684-9739) is published by the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta. This journal provides a platform for academics and practitioners in the field of accounting to share their thoughts in the form of scholarly articles. EQUITY was first published in 2004 and follows a biannual publication schedule in June and December. EQUITY is indexed in several databases, including Dimension, Google Scholar, crossref (DOI), Garuda, and Onesearch.

EQUITY has been accredited SINTA 3 by Kementerian Riset dan Teknologi / Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional since 7th of April 2022. EQUITY is also a member of journal management associations such as the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI-KAPd) and the Alliance of Indonesian Economics and Business Journal Managers (ALJEBI). EQUITY's participation in these associations has several benefits, including fostering transparency, providing a platform for continuous improvement of the Open Journal System (OJS), sharing information, and enhancing the involvement of authors, reviewers, and others in improving the acceptance rate of papers in EQUITY.

Manuscript Submission in English Only

Starting from Volume 28, Number 2, 2025, EQUITY will only accept manuscripts written in English. This policy is implemented to improve the journal’s visibility, accessibility, and international readership, as well as to meet the standards of reputable indexing databases.

We kindly invite authors to prepare and submit their articles in English for consideration in the upcoming issues. Manuscripts that are not written in English will no longer be processed.
