Peer Review Process

Health, Safety, and Environment Journal employs a Double Blind Review process for all submitted manuscripts. The editorial team will first screen all articles to ensure they align with the journal's focus and scope. During this initial review, the editorial team will also assess whether the article exhibits any significant methodological weaknesses. Manuscripts that pass this preliminary evaluation are then subjected to a plagiarism check using Turnitin. If the plagiarism percentage exceeds 20%, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision.

Once the plagiarism check is completed, eligible manuscripts are forwarded to at least two reviewers who are experts in the field. These reviewers will assess the manuscript based on both substantive and technical aspects. If the evaluations from the initial two reviewers differ significantly, an additional reviewer may be assigned to ensure a thorough evaluation.

After the review is completed, the manuscript, along with the reviewers' comments, is returned to the author for revisions. The author is asked to make the necessary revisions and provide responses to the reviewers' feedback. After receiving the revised manuscript, the editorial board will review the changes and make a final decision on whether to accept, reject, or request further revisions. The final decision will be communicated to the author.

The review process, from submission to publication, typically takes 6-8 weeks. The editor reserves the right to determine which manuscripts will be published based on the reviewers' recommendations
