About the Journal

Journal of Cyber Society Communication is a peer-reviewed academic journal that serves as a critical platform for discussions on the multifaceted issues emerging from the rapid development of digital communication and its impact on society. The journal is committed to publishing original research, theoretical reviews, and insightful case studies that deeply explore the phenomena of cyber communication. We critically analyse the complex and dynamic interactions among humans, technology, and society in the digital era.

Grounded in a multidisciplinary perspective, we welcome contributions from a broad range of scholarly fields, including communication studies, sociology, political science, and informatics. The journal's core vision is to publish research that not only analyses how digital technologies acts as an agent of social change, but also engages in a critical discourse on its cultural, political, and social dimensions.

The scope of this journal includes, but is not limited to:

  • Theory and Practise of Digital Communication: Examining the models, patterns, and dynamics of communication mediated by digital technologies.

  • Social Media and Cyber Culture: Critically analysing the impact of social media, internet culture, and identity formation in cyberspace.

  • Digital Ethics and Governance: Engaging with critical issues concerning digital ethics, cyber law, copyright, privacy, and the regulation of internet platforms.

  • Journalism and Disinformation: Investigating the role of digital media in news dissemination, the phenomenon of hoaxes, and the challenges of digital literacy.

  • Social and Economic Transformation: Exploring the implications of e-government, e-commerce, the digital economy, and their effects on social structures.

  • Cybersecurity and Humanistic Issues: Providing social and humanistic perspectives on the challenges and implications of cybersecurity.

We invite scholars to submit work that demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of both contemporary and historical developments in cyber communication, and that addresses the complex relationship between theory, policy, and practise in the digital world.
