Economics and Business is published by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta. JEB was first published in 2014, registered with P-ISSN 2356-0282  and E-ISSN 2684-7582. JEB accepts scientific articles in research areas including marketing management, human resource management, production management, financial management, accounting management, management information systems, international business, business law, and entrepreneurship, and implements a peer review process. The published articles have primary citations and have never been published online or in print before. JEB has both online and print versions, with a publication schedule in June and December each year.

Currently, JEB is indexed in Dimensions - Digital Science, Google Scholar, Garuda, Publons, Base, and PKP Index. Since 2019, JEB has also used Digital Object Identifiers from Crossref.

JEB is a member of the Indonesian Journal of Economics and Business Managers Alliance (ALJEBI) and is accredited with SINTA 3 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (No. SK: 225/E/KPT/2022).
