About the Journal

Journal of Citizenship and Human Rights Studies (CHRS Journal) is an academic journal that provides a focus for scholarly and professional studies in the citizenship and human rights issues. We seek submissions that make original theoretical understanding and empirical knowledge from across national and boundaries that contributed to the development of both issues.

We encourage interdisciplinary perspectives and approaches covering the fields of politics, political-economy, law, public policy, international studies, sociology, anthropology, cultural studies, and history. The journal aims to bring together this range of disciplines into an enabling forum of discussion and exchange on citizenship and human rights.

All articles published in CHRS Journal are under the condition of having to pass through the peer-review system, based on initial editor screening and two anonymized refereeing.

CHRS Journal is managed and published by Center for Citizenship and Human Rights Studies (CCHRS), Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ).
