BIOLOGY AND HEALTH INNOVATIONS

- AIMS AND SCOPE
Biology and Health Innovations publishes original research articles, case studies, systematic reviews, and short communications in the fields of biomedical sciences, clinical medicine, public health, biotechnology, molecular biology, health technology, and interdisciplinary innovations in biology and health sciences.
- ARTICLE TYPES
The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:
- Original Research Articles
- Case Reports / Case Studies
- Systematic Reviews / Meta-Analyses
- Short Communications
- Editorials (by invitation only)
- MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION
Manuscripts must be written in English using Garamond font, size 12, single spacing, formatted on A4 paper with the following margins: Top 1 inch (2.54 cm), Bottom 1 inch (2.54 cm), Left 0.75 inch (1.90 cm), and Right 0.75 inch (1.90 cm). The layout should use two columns starting from the Introduction section.
- MANUSCRIPT STRUCTURE
The manuscript should be arranged in the following order:
a. Title (Bold, Capital Letters)
b. Abstract (150–250 words) with 3–6 keywords arranged alphabetically and separated by semicolons
c. Introduction
d. Materials and Methods
e. Results
f. Discussion
g. Conclusion
h. Acknowledgment
i. Declarations (Author Contribution, Funding Statement, Conflict of Interest)
j. References (Vancouver Style, non-superscript)
- ABSTRACT
The abstract must clearly state the background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Word count must be between 150–250 words. Keywords must be written below the abstract.
- FIGURES AND TABLES
Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively. Titles for figures are placed below the image, while table titles are placed above the table. All figures must be high resolution and clearly readable. Each figure and table must be cited in the text and include appropriate references when applicable.
- ETHICAL CONSIDERATION
Research involving human subjects must include ethical approval from an authorized ethics committee and informed consent from participants. Animal research must follow institutional and international guidelines.
- REFERENCES
References must follow the Vancouver Style (non-superscript numbering). Authors are required to use reference management software (e.g., Mendeley). At least 10 primary references from reputable scientific journals are required, preferably published within the last 5 years. Each journal article must include a valid DOI.
- SUBMISSION AND REVIEW PROCESS
All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. The journal applies a double-blind peer review process. Authors must not include names or affiliations in the main manuscript file to ensure anonymity.
- COPYRIGHT AND LICENSE
Upon acceptance, authors will be required to sign a copyright agreement. The journal reserves the right to edit manuscripts for clarity and formatting without altering scientific content.
