PENGARUH PEMBERIAN CHEST PHYSIOTHERAPY TERHADAP PENURUNAN HAMBATAN JALAN NAPAS PADA KASUS PNEUMONIA ANAK

Abstract

Pneumonia adalah penyakit radang paru-paru dan merupakan penyebab kematian terbesar pada anak-anak di bawah usia lima tahun di seluruh dunia. Chest physiotherapy (CPT) dapat digunakan dalam pengobatan pneumonia dengan pola latihan untuk pembersihan jalan napas sehingga bernapas menjadi lebih mudah dan nyaman. Tujuan: analisis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak positif chest physiotherapy terhadap pneumonia pada anak. Metode: Ilustrasi kepustakaan menggunakan instrumen pencarian Pubmed, Google Scholar, dan Cochrane sesuai dengan kata kunci. Hasil temuan: Pada penelusuran didapatkan 18 artikel yang memenuhi memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Kemudian tahap pencarian dilanjutkan dengan membaca keseluruhan artikel dan ditemukan artikel yang sesuai sebanyak 2 artikel pada Pubmed, 2 artikel pada Google Scholar, dan 1 pada Cochrane. Kesimpulan: Chest physiotherapy terbukti dapat membantu membersihkan jalan napas, mengurangi mukus atau sputum, meningkatkan pertukaran gas dan mengurangi kerja pernapasan.
