PENGARUH AEROBIC EXERCISE TERHADAP TEKANAN DARAH PADA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI: STUDI LITERATUR EFFECT OF AEROBIC EXERCISE ON BLOOD PRESSURE IN PATIENTS WITH HYPERTENSION: A LITERATURE STUDY

Latar Belakang: Hipertensi adalah peningkatan tekanan darah pada sistolik ≥ 140 mmHg dan diastolik ≥ 90 mmHg. Hipertensi biasa terjadi pada usia produktif yaitu usia 15 – 65 tahun. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk menurunkan dan mengontrol tekanan darah adalah dengan pemberian aerobic exercise. Latihan aerobik adalah penambahan pemanfaatan energi pada otot dengan menggunakan program latihan. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh aerobic exercise terhadap tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi dari berbagai literatur. Metode Penelitian: Metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur dengan terbitan maksimal 10 tahun terakhir. Literatur didapatkan dari 3 search engine yaitu PubMed, PEDro dan Semantic Scholar. Literatur didapatkan dengan menggunakan teknik PICOS. Selanjutnya dimasukkan ke aplikasi mendeley untuk melihat literatur yang terduplikasi, kemudian diseleksi sesuai kriteria inklusi. Literatur yang eligible diekstraksi dengan metode CONSORT. Hasil: Terdapat 10 literatur eligible dengan 9 literatur menggunakan RCT dan 1 literatur menggunakan randomized crossed over trial. Secara keseluruhan didapatkan pengaruh yang signifikan P – value menunjukkan P < 0,05 dengan alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu tensi Omron digital, spyhgmomanometer manual, dan oscillometric terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi. Kesimpulan: Dari berbagai variasi aerobic exercise, aerobic exercise intensitas sedang lebih efektif dalam menurunkan tekanan darah dibandingkan aerobic exercise intensitas rendah atau tinggi.
