Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHOR JURNAL KEPERAWATAN WIDYAGANTARI INDONESIA (JKWGI)

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. The registration process for the JKWGI Journal is fully carried out independently by the author. All data are expected to be filled in correctly, both name, address, agency, and e-mail.

  1. Submitting the manuscript of the Jurnal Keperawatan Widya Gantari Indonesia (JKWGI) carried out via Online/E-Journal/OJS JKWGI:

  1. Information/notification of revision, acceptance or rejection of Manuscripts sent via OJS and email, as well as the results of the correction/improvement of the manuscript from the editors and Bestari Partners (Reviewer) must be resubmitted via OJS.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHOR

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts should pay attention to the points below.

If the manuscript does not meet the stated requirements, there is a possibility that the manuscript will be returned.

  1. Articles must be original and in the form of field research or ideas conceptual, related to society and development; and the article is not currently in the process of submitting publication in Other Journals and has never been published in Proceedings and or other Scientific Journals.   2. Plagiarismism Tolerance (Similarity Test) 20% (Attach Plagiarism Test by Author)

After the reviewer's correction is accepted, a Plagiarism Test will be carried out by the Journal Team, if the result is >20% it will be returned to the author for correction.

  1. Articles are written in Indonesian or English, according to the rules use of the applicable language. Articles are typed with 1 (one) space on A4 paper using the word processing program MS-Word for Windows, using the 11 fonts “Book Antiqua”, without hard-hyphenation, and long writing 3500-5500 words.
  2. Manuscripts are made in the form of 1 (one) column
  3. The systematics of writing the JKWGI Journal, are as follows:

In writing articles, avoid using dot points, alphabetizing, or numbering like the following example:

Articles are written in essay form, so there is no numeric (or alphabetical) format that separates chapters/sections, or marks new chapters/sections; Conclusions are not detailed in bullet points but in the form of paragraphs.

The title of the article is written specifically and effectively, with no more than 10 words. With font size 12 pt

The author’s identity is written in the full name and does not include title, and affiliation according to the naming of the Legal Institution (Name, Faculty, University, and State), as follows:

ABSTRACT (11 pt)

The abstract contains the background of the research, research methods, research results, discussion, conclusions, and recommendations. Abstract written in Indonesian, one paragraph, maximum 100-250 words, left-right aligned.

 

KEYWORDS (11 PT)

Keywords are written in Indonesian and English. Consists of 3-5 words/phrases, punctuation marks with commas in each word/phrase

 

INTRODUCTION (UPPERCASE, JUSTIFY, BOLD, FONT BOOK ANTIQUA 11)

Papers are written in 5-12 pages (if more will experience truncation), 1 column, left and right aligned, and one space. The beginning of a paragraph always starts one tab from the left of the page. Every page gave the page number in the middle of the page.

 

The introduction is written in Book Antiqua, font 11, spaced 1, and 1 column. The introductory section contains the background, problems solved, objectives, urgency/justification of the research, and related research that has been carried out by other researchers (if any) as well as the results of the preliminary study. The paper size used is A4, with margins Top 1”, Bottom 1”, Left 0.75” and Right 0.75” (in inches), or margins Top 2.54 cm, Bottom 2.54 cm, Left 1.90 cm and Right 1.90 cm (in centimeters). Pictures and photos must be clear and equipped with proportional images or photo captions, using a page layout with columns One.

RESEARCH METHODS (UPPERCASE, JUSTIFY, BOLD, FONT BOOK ANTIQUA 11)

The research method contains the type, time, sample, research variables, and instruments/questionnaires used, and the data analysis is briefly written in this section. The type of research that is experimental in the laboratory must include the main ingredients with specifications and sources clearly. In this section it should explain how research ethics approval was obtained and the protection of the rights of the respondents imposed. Written in Book Antiqua letters, font 11, space 1, and paper size used is A4, with margins Top 1”, Bottom 1”, Left 0.75” and Right 0.75” (in inches), or margins Top 2.54 cm, Bottom 2.54 cm, Left 1.90 cm and Right 1.90 cm (in centimeters).

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION (UPPERCASE, JUSTIFY, BOLD, FONT BOOK ANTIQUA 11)

This section contains data on the characteristics of the research subject/object/sample/respondent, the results of data analysis, testing of instruments and hypotheses (if any), answers to research questions, findings, and interpretation of the findings. This section, if possible, can be graphed for

each research variable. Next, the descriptive statistical values (eg Mean, SD, Maximum, Minimum) and their interpretations are presented successively. At the end of this section present the results of the research hypothesis testing and its discussion adequately. Writing references or citations follows the APA system. For example, the last name of the author followed by the year of publication, then the writing (Muhtadi, 2015).

The results of the research and discussion are written in a single unit written in Book Antiqua letters, font 11, spaced 1 and the paper size used is A4, with margins Top 1”, Bottom 1”, Left 0.75” and Right 0.75” (in inches), or margins Top 2.54 cm, Bottom 2.54 cm, Left 1.90 cm and Right 1.90 cm (in centimeters). The data is presented in an open table. Tables and figures should be referenced in the text and given sufficient titles and descriptions, so as not to rely on text. The table title is placed above the table, while the image title is placed at the bottom of the figure. Tables are numbered in order of appearance, as are pictures.

Pictures and photos must be clear and equipped with proportional image or photo captions, using a page layout with columns One. Images and graphics are placed in the center of the page, (see example Figure 1). Tables are also placed in the middle of the page using horizontal lines, without vertical lines. Numbers and table titles are placed above the table (see example Table 1).

CONCLUSION (UPPERCASE, JUSTIFY, BOLD, FONT BOOK ANTIQUA 11)

Conclusions are drawn from the results and discussion of the research and answer the research questions/objectives briefly and clearly, written in Book Antiqua letters, font 11, spaced 1 and the paper size used is A4, with margins Top 1”, Bottom 1”, Left 0.75” and Right 0.75” (in inches) , or margin Top 2.54 cm, Bottom 2.54 cm, Left 1.90 cm and Right 1.90 cm (in centimeters).

 

SUGGESTIONS (UPPERCASE, JUSTIFY, BOLD, FONT BOOK ANTIQUA 11)

Suggestions are given to those who benefit from the research to take action based on the results and discussion of the research, written briefly and clearly in Book Antiqua letters, font 11, spaced 1 and the paper size used is A4, with margins top 1”, bottom 1 ”, left 0.75” and right 0.75” (in inches), or margin-top

2.54 cm, bottom 2.54 cm, left 1.90 cm, and right 1.90 cm (in centimeters).

2. The use of the bibliography using the format (name, year) refers to the American Psychological Association (APA Format 6th Ed), and reference management is recommended using the Mendeley application. (Book Antiqua, 11 pt).

"Using the most recent references for the last 10 years, referrals from JKWGI are highly recommended. Articles use a minimum of 20 references."
