MITIGASI BENCANA SEBAGAI BENTUK AKTUALISASI BELA NEGARA DI DESA BUANAJAYA, KABUPATEN BOGOR

Abstract

Disaster mitigation as a form of national defense actualization in Buanajaya Village, Bogor Regency aims to increase community awareness and preparedness in facing potential natural disasters. Indonesia, as an archipelagic country located between three major tectonic plates, often experiences various natural disasters such as earthquakes and landslides. Buanajaya Village, especially Cibeureum Hamlet, has a high risk of these disasters. Through disaster mitigation socialization activities, the community is invited to learn more about disaster prevention and management measures. These activities include mediation with Disaster Response Village (DESTANA) members and direct socialization with residents. The results show increased community knowledge and awareness of disasters, despite some challenges in implementation. It is hoped that these activities can continue with adequate support in terms of tools and facilities.
