Dinamika Digitalisasi Filantropi Islam Di Indonesia: Analisis Perubahan Pola Penyaluran Sedekah Dan Implikasinya Terhadap Kesejahteraan Sosial

Abstract

The purpose to analyse Islamic philanthropy practices in the digital context of online charity from a Sharia perspective and its implications for the social economy. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach sourced from books, articles, research reports and primary references in Islam. The results of the study show that digital almsgiving is permissible under Islamic law as long as it complies with the principles of Sharia as stipulated in Fatwa DSN-MUI No. 117/DSN-MUI/IX/2018 The digitisation of almsgiving has changed the way people give alms in society, making it more efficient and faster. It increases public trust due to the transparent distribution process and expands the reach of both givers and recipients of alms. This has a positive impact on zakat and alms institutions, as evidenced by the continuous increase in the amount of funds collected, supporting operational efficiency and good governance. Therefore, the shift towards digital distribution in charity can have positive implications for social welfare, thereby achieving the objectives of Islamic law (maqashid syariah) in terms of preserving wealth (hifzul maal).

Abstrak

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik filantropi Islam dalam konteks digital pada fenomena sedekah online ditinjau dari perspektif syariah serta implikasi terhadap ekonomi sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur yang bersumber pada buku, artikel, laporan penelitian serta rujukan utama dalam Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik sedekah digital diperbolehkan menurut hukum Islam selama memenuhi prinsip-prinsip syariah sebagaimana diatur dalam Fatwa DSN-MUI No. 117/DSN-MUI/IX/. Digitalisasi sedekah telah mengubah cara bersedekah di masyarakat yang lebih efisien, cepat dan menambah tingkat kepercayaan masyarakat karena proses distribusi yang transparan serta memperluas jangkauan pemberi dan penerima manfaat sedekah. Hal tersebut berdampak positif bagi lembaga amil zakat dan sedekah, peningkatan terus dibuktikan pada jumlah pengumpulan dana, mendukung efisiensi operasional dan juga sebagai wujud tata kelola yang baik. Oleh karena itu perubahan pola penyaluran dalam sedekah kearah digital dapat berimplikasi baik bagi kesejahteraan sosial sehingga dapat mencapai tujuan maqashid syariah dalam hal hifzul maal.
